PHP full form- Hypertext Preprocessor

A Google search for PHP results in a 2,890,000,000 hits.

PHP is fast and easy to use, fast and easy to develop in. We can mingle it with HTML in our Web Pages. We can write it easier than other programming languages.

We don't need to compile it as we have to do with other languages, before executing it

PHP stands for Hypertext Preprocessor but its original name was Personal Home Page

PHP has been around for quite sometime, it was created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994.

PHP 6 is expected to have some major and minor changes- support for Unicode. Unicode (www.unicode.org)is a character set that's designed to encompass many of the world's languages, unlike PHP today.
